This entrancing outdoor setting for your dream country wedding is remarkably near to Auckland. Overlooking the upper harbour, the entire Boat House venue will be exclusively yours for the day. Say ‘I do’ under the 100-year-old oak tree on the extensive lawn with permanent marquee & savour the delight of a stress-free outdoor wedding.

Reception

The architecturally designed reception hall, permanent hanging flower arrangements throughout the high vaulted ceiling, ambient lighting and the benefit of exceptional indoor-outdoor flow onto large sweeping decks adds a dollop of ‘wow’ to your celebrations.

Steeped in history, we pride ourselves in offering delectable menu with a modern take on the classics, made from scratch from freshly sourced local produce.

The Boat House offers so many options for the creative mind. This venue allows your guests to enjoy a different space throughout the day, from the lawn, marquee & garden gazebos up until the time you are introduced for the first time as ‘a married couple’ in the gorgeously decorated reception hall.

After the formalities; party the night away in the adjacent room with bar & clear top conservatory for those who want to chat or get a breather from the festivities of the day.

Location

Just on the outskirts of Auckland city to the Northwest. Only 20 minutes by car, or uniquely accessible by ferry or your own private water vessel.

It often surprises people just how short the journey is. A quick route from the end of the North Western Motorway with plenty of free parking… or arrive in style by helicopter, boat or coach!

“All we can say is Wow!! What an absolutely fabulous wedding we had.

The Boat House looked so stunning! Everyone commented on what a truly beautiful spot it was, how relaxed and easy the place was.

You both worked so hard to make our day just what we wanted and honestly it exceeded our expectations. The set up was so easy. Monique and her husband who set all our things up had only fabulous feedback and said Sally was wonderful.

The small things really blew Morné and I away. Having a drink ready right after the ceremony. Keeping aside some canapes so we didn’t miss out during photos. And Morné and I loved how one of your staff members in particular made sure we always had a drink if needed.

Sally you were so easy and made sure the night was perfect. Deb all your hard work right up to the day was so appreciated. Nothing ever felt like it wasn’t achievable whilst at the same time you made sure you only said yes if it was possible.
